Summer Glau
The first time she appeared on TV was as a guest star in the episode in 2002 of Angel. She was the target of director Joss Whedon, who later was cast in his critically acclaimed but short-lived TV show Firefly as River Tam, a role she reprised in the sequel's feature film Serenity. Glau auditioned previously for the Power Ranger role (White Wild Force Ranger, Alyssa Erile) in Power Rangers Wild Force. But, she fell short to Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.
